Zoo Med Nightlight Red 60W Bulb is an ideal source of heat for all types of birds. True red glass (not painted or coated) for better heat transfer. The red bulb also works well as a night light so birds can find their perch if they get disturbed at night (ie. night fright).

These bulbs can be used with a clamp light (sold at most hardware/home improvement stores). We prefer to use a socket/cord set up and hang these lights from the top of the flight approximately 8-10 inches above a perch.

PLEASE NOTE:
Always be sure that when you use a source of heat for your birds that they have a large enough cage to move away from the heat if they want to.
